To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make a statement on the level of inward investment into Wales.

Inward investment has made a very significant contribution to the transformation of the Welsh economy in recent years, a contribution that is being maintained at very high levels. The financial year 1990–91 was again a record year for inward investment to Wales, with 147 projects secured promising nearly 15,000 jobs.
