§ Mr. RedwoodThe Director General of Fair Trading is currently conducting a review of a number of issues 597W concerning the distribution of newspapers. The Director General will decide in the light of this review whether further action under the competition legislation for which he is responsible is required. It would not be appropriate for me to comment in advance of the completion of the Director General's review.
