The reduction given to domestic ratepayers was increased by 82 p following the Budget statement, from 12 p to 94 p. Compared with 1990–91, the regional rate for domestic ratepayers has been reduced by 64.87 p or 47.60 per cent. The following table gives the district council rates and the overall rates, regional and district, payable in each district council area by non-domestic and domestic ratepayers for 1991–92 and comparisons with 1990–91.
