§ Mr. CurryWe favour making the set-aside scheme more effective and attractive. In particular we need to ensure more even uptake throughout the Community and to make set-aside more environmentally friendly. The Commission's proposal for a one-year set-aside scheme linked to refund of cereals co-responsibility levy does not meet these objectives; therefore we do not support it.
