To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the right to repair scheme.

I refer my hon. Friend to the answer given by my hon. Friend the Minister for Housing and Planning on 31 October 1990 to the hon. Member for Hammersmith (Mr. Soley),Official Report, column 535. The number of claims under the right to repair scheme continues to be low.
