§ Mr. Tom ClarkeTo ask the Secretary of State for Health what representation his hon. Friend the Minister of Health has received from the Act Now Group concerning Government policy of non-implementation of sections of the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986.
§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyWe have received a letter from this group expressing concern at our decision not to implement sections 1, 2, and 3 of the Act at the present time. Act Now also wrote to officials in the the Department following the announcement that we did not at present intend to proceed with the implementation of section 7.
