HC Deb 25 April 1991 vol 189 cc527-8W
Mr. John D. Taylor

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many persons have been found guilty of possession of clenbuterol; how many prosecutions are pending; how much clenbuterol has been seized this year; and if he will make a statement about measures to prohibit the movement of clenbuterol across the border from the Republic of Ireland.

Mr. Chope

[holding answer 24 April 1991]: We will be inviting bids from consultants later this year for the study of the needs of the A38 from Exeter to Plymouth. This will be linked with studies into the planning and environmental issues pertaining to the proposal for a privately financed second Tamar crossing, which will also commence shortly.
