HC Deb 24 April 1991 vol 189 cc475-6W
Mr. Peter Bottomley

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how long it usually takes for information to be made publicly available as to whether a driver had taken alcohol before driving and being killed.

The Attorney-General

I have been asked to reply.

Information as to whether a driver had taken alcohol before driving and being killed is made publicly available on the hearing of a coroner's inquest. The time taken to release this information varies and no records are kept.
