We continue to be in close touch with the United States and with other allies about our mutual concerns over Soviet compliance with the provisions of the CFE treaty. My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister raised these issues personally with Mr. Gorbachev in March. NATO is agreed that it is for the Soviet Union to resolve these concerns.
