§ Mr. ChopeIt is the responsibility of all road users to be aware of the contents of the Highway Code. The code is already widely available through HMSO, booksellers and an increasing number of other retail outlets. The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency also supplies copies on request to applicants for provisional driving licences. My Department takes every opportunity to promote increased public awareness of the safety measures in the code.
