To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what plans he has to further involve the private sector in the provision of care for the elderly in the Greater Glasgow health board area; and if he will make a statement.

It is for Greater Glasgow health board to decide whether it wishes to extend partnership developments with the private sector in its strategy for care of the elderly.
