To ask the Secretary of State for Defence who is funding the recently awarded contract for construction work on the communications building at RAF Edzell.

This work is being funded by the United States navy.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what is the role of RAF Edzell.

§ Mr. Archie Hamilton
The role of RAF Edzell is to facilitate the interoperability of Royal Navy and United States navy communications systems, and to provide communications support to Royal Navy ships.
