To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if his Department has any plans to support the second United Nations International Week of Science and Peace, 5 to 11 November.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

We are not convinced about the potential value of the UN International Week of Science and Peace. We do not intend to allocate to it resources better employed elsewhere.
