§ Mr. SainsburyProgress towards the completion of the single market continues at an excellent rate; 187 measures out of 282 in the Commission's White Paper programme (two thirds) have now been agreed. A more detailed analysis of measures which still require Council adoption and identifying the lead Department can be found in a checklist produced by my Department: "The Single Market—Progress on Commission White Paper". A copy has been deposited in the House Library.
