§ Mr. FallonThe Department has received one recent representation from Macmillan city technology college about the teaching of music. It suggests that peripatetic music teachers employed by Cleveland LEA may find that they lose their work for the LEA if they also do work at Macmillan CTC. We would be very disturbed if this was the case and the Department is investigating the matter urgently. We would expect Cleveland LEA to be able to provide an assurance that no such discrimination is practised.
