asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will give global figures for the past five years of international indebtedness (total "official" and commercial) for all those countries for which such information is available, grouped geographically if necessary, in relation to total GNP and GNP per capita.

For developing countries, the information requested can be obtained either by reference to, or use of,World Debt Tables 1989–90 and World Tables 1989–90, both published by the World Bank.
