§ Mr. GummerI have considered the comments which I have received in response to my earlier announcement about the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation very carefully. I am satisfied that it would be generally beneficial to remove the present statutory restrictions on the corporation, including those on the range of financial services which it can offer. This will require legislation, which I hope to introduce at the first convenient opportunity.
