§ Mr. MacGregorDetails of individual pupils in receipt of awards under the assisted places scheme are not held by my Department. Such records as there are, including addresses of parents, and so on, are held by the schools which participate in the scheme.
§ Mr. StrawTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what measures he has taken to ensure that records of personal details of award holders and their parents under the assisted places scheme are used only for the purposes for which the information was originally given.
§ Mr. MacGregorThe participating schools are wholly responsible for the records they keep of individual pupils in receipt of awards under the assisted places scheme.
