To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will list the names of persons and their organisations who are presently members of the Companies House users group.

Mr. Redwood

The current members of the Companies House users' group are Mr. Norman Roberts, FCCA—the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants; Mr. J. M. Steward—the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales; Mr. T. Robinson—Institute of Credit Management; Miss J. Henry and Mr. R. Paton—the Law Society; Mr. G. A. Corderoy—Law Services Association; Mr. R. D. Gilbert—the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators; Mr. B. Palmer—Credit Reporting Agencies; Mr.K. G. Goodchild—the Committee of London and Scottish Banks; Mr. M. Ryden—Financial Analysts; Mr. M. R. Chettleburgh and Mr. D. Ordish—the Association of Company Registration Agents; Mr. C. Bostle—City Business Libraries; Ms. F. Harrison—National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux; Ms. R. Higgs—Trades Union Congress; Mrs. A. Ronay—Association of British Chambers of Commerce; Mr. T. Williams—the Insolvency Service; and Mr. P. Mitchenson—Trade Protection Agencies.

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many postal sales inquiries were satisfied by(a) Companies House, Cardiff and (b) Companies House, Edinburgh for each year from 1983 to 1989, respectively.
