To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what improvements are under way or are planned for stations in the Greater London area.

Network SouthEast has a programme of improvements for all stations including those within the Greater London area. Since 1986 NSE has rebuilt or modernised 370 stations—nearly 40 per cent. of the total. A continuing programme of improvements is planned.
