§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryThe results of the NERC/Reading university studies on captive partridges were published late last year. They have been drawn to the attention of the advisory committee on pesticides. New studies, building on this work and, in particular, to relate it to what may happen in the wild, are under way or will be started soon. These additional studies are being funded by both NERC and my Department.
