§ Mr. Peter LloydOn 15 August we withdrew from nationals of Somalia the concession under which the visa requirement is waived for transit passengers who are booked on an onward flight within 24 hours. The same concession was subsequently withdrawn from Iraqi nationals with effect from 23 August. Under rules changes which took effect on 22 September Iraqi nationals are to be refused student visas and Iraqis already issued with such visas may be refused admission. Under an immigration rules change which took effect on 1 October visas are no longer required by nationals of Czechoslovakia and Hungary; this change is subject to the usual parliamentary procedure.
