§ Mr. CurrySix hundred and eighty five million eggs were imported into the United Kingdom between September 1989 and August 1990 at a value of £29 million.
This represents an increase of 148 per cent. in volume and 211 per cent. in value over figures for the equivalent period in 1988–89.
