Mr. Austin Mitchell

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he will publish in theOfficial Report a table showing for 1968, 1973, 1977, 1985 and 1989, on the basis of 1973 = 100, United Kingdom output of (a) textiles, clothing, leather and footwear, (b) motor vehicles, (c) mechanical engineering less groups 320 and 329 and (d) electronic and electrical engineering goods.
