What is the position concerning the export of nuclear triggers from this country to Iraq.
§ The Minister of State, Department of Trade and Industry (Lord Hesketh)The export from the United Kingdom of nuclear triggers is subject to control under the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1989 (SI 2376) as amended, and also the Export of Goods (Control) (Iraq and Kuwait Sanctions) Order 1990 (SI 1640). The delivery of any goods to Iraq is subject to control under the Iraq and Kuwait (United Nations Sanctions) Order 1990 (SI 1616) as amended.
