§ Mr. FreemanUnder the London Regional Transport Act 1984, the tendering of bus routes in London and the decision on whether to publish successful tender bids are matters for London Transport. While the Government have no immediate plans to amend this legislation, the point raised by the hon. Gentleman will be considered in the context of our plans to deregulate the London bus market.
