Whether decisions have yet been taken on the new lines proposed by the Central London Rail Study.

: My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Transport has today announced decisions on the new lines proposed by the Central London Rail Study. He has given the go-ahead to East-West Crossrail and will also be protecting the route for a line from Chelsea to Hackney. He has set out his decisions in a letter to the chairmen of British Rail and London Transport, the text of which is as attached.
