§ Mr. ForthThe Commission's social action programme contains three draft directives on part-time and temporary work, one of which would have the effect of reducing the period for which certain part-time employees have to work for their employers to qualify for the right to a redundancy payment. If adopted the draft directive would need to be implemented by 31 December 1992.
