§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe number of casualties which might result from any military action could vary considerably depending on a wide range of factors. Contingency plans for the treatment and evacuation of casualties in the event of hostilities continue to be developed. Two field hospitals and other support facilities have already been deployed to the Gulf, and further facilities will be deployed with 1st armoured division.
