§ Mrs. RumboldAll establishments in Great Britain designated under the Act, including the National Institute for Medical Research at Mill Hill, are subject to visits, mainly without notice, by the animals (scientific procedures) inspectorate to ensure that the controls of the Act and the terms and conditions of licences issued under it are being observed.
