§ Mr. TrippierA suite of furniture comprising five chairs and two sofas, which had been on loan from Spencer house to Kenwood house since 1958, was returned to the painted room at the newly restored Spencer house when it was reopened on Monday 19 November. The furniture was purchased by the Victoria and Albert museum in 1977 and remained on loan to Kenwood house until its recent 227W removal. This is consistent with the V and A's policy of reinstating furniture and works of art to their original locations wherever possible. The furniture will continue to be available for public view.
