§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe Single European Act treaty was signed at plenipotentiary meetings in Luxembourg on 17 February 1986 and in The Hague on 28 February 1986. On both occasions the Government were represented by my right hon. Friend the Member for Wallasey (Mrs. Chalker), the then Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
