§ Mr. MacleanSome representations have been received about the Zoonoses Order 1989 in relation to the compulsory slaughter policy for salmonella-infected poultry flocks. The Government measures are clearly reducing potential sources of salmonella infection and I have no plans to repeal this legislation, although it is kept constantly under review.
