§ Mr. John PattenWe have now received and published the report of consultants appointed to prepare an assessment of the costs of implementing the main organisational recommendations in the report of the magistrates courts scrutiny 1989 and of an alternative organisational model. We are giving further thought to the scrutiny recommendations in the light of the consultants' advice and of any comments on their work by interested bodies.
