§ The Prime MinisterThe special European Council in Rome on 27 and 28 October did not discuss the specific question of German fishing fleets. But the German authorities have given repeated assurances to the Council of Ministers that they will not seek any adjustments which would affect existing access to Community waters under the common fisheries policy.
