Mr. Wallace

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs who will represent Her Majesty's Government at the conference to be held later in November in Santiago, to discuss the future of Antarctica.

Mr. Garel-Jones

Present intentions are that a team made up of officials from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and the Departments of Energy, Environment and Trade and Industry will represent Her Majesty's Government. Individual participants from these Departments have not yet been nominated.
