§ Mr. Alan HowarthNo education support grant was allocated for governor training in the financial year 1988–89. Accounts are not yet finalised for 1989–90, but the amount made available through the education support grant programme for governor training in that year was £4,900,000. The amount which is being made available in the 1990–91 financial year is £5,152,700. The programme is scheduled to continue for a further year.
