§ Mr. TrippierThe National Rivers Authority is responsible for setting the quality standard of sewage works effluents. The Department has no plans to alter the present case-by-case system whereby phosphorus stripping is required in the few locations such as the Norfolk Broads and Loch Neagh where the receiving waters show signs of nutrient enrichment.
