§ Mr. JannerTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will discuss with the Governor of Hong Kong(a) the conditions and state of health of the Vietnamese refugees confined in each of the camps in Hong Kong, respectively and (b) recent riots in each of the camps in Hong Kong, respectively.
§ Mr. MaudeYes. The best way to improve conditions in the camps and to remove the risk of riots is for those found after status-determination procedures not to be refugees to be returned in safety to their own communities in Vietnam.
