HC Deb 21 May 1990 vol 173 cc65-6W
Mr.Gwilym Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales whether he proposes to make changes to the funding arrangements for special needs projects undertaken by housing associations in Wales and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Grist

[pursuant to his reply, 20 April 1990, c. 1057–58]: We have now reassessed requirements and expect to incur expenditure of £33,000 up to the end of June. Pending parliamentary approval of the necessary revised estimate for class XVII, vote 6, this expenditure will be met by repayable advances from the Contingencies Fund. Further advances may be required for expenditure in July.
