§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryGrant in aid to the Nature Conservancy Council has risen from £7.9 million in 1979–80 to £44.069 million in 1990–91. This is an increase in real terms of 159 per cent. The council has also been allocated an additional £750,000 this year to meet its costs arising from the proposed reorganisation of the conservation agencies.
