§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe Department awarded the Research Institute for Consumer Affairs a grant of £8,000 towards the costs of compiling and editing this handbook for informal carers of people with AIDS or HIV infection. We value the role which informal carers play in the care of people with AIDS and hope that the handbook will help them in providing that care.
