§ The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Lord Brabazon of Tara)We have recently reviewed the staffing situation in Community institutions and have agreed with the Commission on a package of measures to improve the recruitment of British nationals. This will include improved publicity on vacancies, competitions and recruitment procedures. A special unit is being estabished in the Cabinet Office to co-ordinate the recruitment effort and pursue individual issues with the Commission.
