§ Mr. DorrellThe Yorkshire regional cancer registry submits records of newly diagnosed cases of cancer for its region to the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys (OPCS) in the form of a magnetic tape once the data for a particular year are judged to be complete. The records contain information which enables OPCS to maintain its cancer surveillance system and to produce the national annual reference volumes on cancer incidence.
