§ Mr. Peter BottomleyNo specific assessment has been made of the effectiveness of road safety precautions along Harbour road at Ballyhalbert, County Down. Correspondence from a resident expressing concern about danger from traffic is currently being investigated. Traffic on the carriageway is separated from the houses by a 1.5 m wide strip at road level. There is no evidence of traffic driving on the footway on the shore side of the road. There are no plans at present to widen Harbour road.
