§ Mr. CurryOur plans to establish 34 nursery areas in coastal waters to protect stocks of juvenile bass were announced on 19 April at column980. In these areas fishing for bass from any vessel will be prohibited for all or part of the year. Regulations, to be made under section 5 of the Sea Fish Conservation Act 1967, will be laid before the House shortly.
