§ Mr. McLoughlinMy right hon. Friend has recently agreed, with 22 other European Transport Ministers, an action programme to increase capacity in Europe by integrating air traffic control systems and optimising the air traffic route network. This can be achieved more quickly and commits European states to intensify work on measures to handle safely the forecast growth in traffic to the end of the century. A copy of the report which sets out the programme unanimously agreed by European Transport Ministers has been placed in the Library.
