§ Mr. ForthPirate radio is a nuisance that can endanger lives and disrupt business. The radio investigation service of my Department's radiocommunications agency has powers to raid pirate stations and prosecute offenders where this proves necessary. It will be considerably helped in its efforts by new powers in the Broadcasting Bill that is currently before the House.
