§ Mr. John PattenI welcome the initiatives taken by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust in focusing attention on the treatment and sentencing of sex offenders. We are considering the report's recommendations and its points for action and we shall take them into account in developing our own strategy for the treatment of sex offenders.
