§ Mrs. ChalkerThe Government supported the proposed conclusion, reached by the development assistance committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, that assistance to eastern Europe should not be included in the calculation of official development assistance as a proportion of GNP used in DAC statistical presentations.
